Another issue often found is that the client push mechanism does not work. Whenever you select a client computer from the Configuration Manager Console and select Install Client the client is not installed in the client computer. To troubleshoot this issue you will have to check the client log files.

 

The error messages shown in the “ccmsetup.log” can look like:

 

Failed to correctly receive a WEBDAV HTTP request.

Failed to succesfully complete HTTP request. (StatusCode at WinHttpQueryHeaders: 405)

 

This error message if verified by Microsoft and they provide a solution in which you need to alter some settings related to WEBDav and IIS. This issue is known for System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Management Point (MP) that is installed on a Windows Server 2008 based computer.
